The Gilpin has a tourney on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm. It's called
six - two - one. What the heck does that mean?
DUH....nevermind. I actually opened my eyes and looked at their website under, of all places, "Game Descriptions", and found the answer to my question.

I think they would have more success with these tournaments if they lowered the buy-in's. Perhaps $40+8 Monday-Wendesday and $100+15 Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. I know I would go up there during the week to play in one.

Same here. $100 + 15 is a little steep for me, especially when I'm just running up there after work for a little fun. I'm curious if they are successful at getting 60 players each weeknight for these things.

I went up on a Friday night, and all they were able to get was 20 people for the $100 tournament. Like I said in another thread, it does sound like they've been filling up the multi-table $40 tournaments.

Just do an online search for the Gilpin Casino and it will get you there. I really can't remember the actual address. Sorry.
