I'm thinking about going up to blackhawk or central city on Saturday the 7th. Where is the best place to go with nice people and a good time. What are my options of blinds? when I was up there the place I was at before only seemed to have 2-5 is there anything thats lower. I would like to maybe find a fun tournament or something to keep me occupied for a good portion of a day. Also, since drinks are free up there is there anyplace with relatively decent priced rooms because I think I might go and stay through sunday the 8th. When I tried to call around it seemed like most places wanted 150$ a night for a room on the weekend but I'm just going by myself so thats a bit insane for just me. Any advice on best places to go and best things to check out would be appriciated.

For $2-5 spread limit (at Mountain High, The Lodge, and Colorado Central Station), there will always be one $2 blind to the left of the button.
You can also play $2/4 limit at The Gilpin, and there is the "usual" $1 & $2 blinds to the left of the button. The Gilpin also has $1/2 limit poker, but I'm not too sure how the blinds work in that game.
If you plan on spending a good chunk of the day up there, then I would highly recommend trying to hit all of the card rooms--maybe 2-3 hours in each room. You can park at Mountain High, play there, walk across the street to The Lodge, play there, then walk the block and a half up to The Gilpin and try their's out. Colorado Central Station is a bit of a hike, though.
As for tournaments, The Gilpin will have 10-person Sit-N-Go's running all day ($20-40 buy-ins). If you make it to the final 3, you'll have played for about 2 hours. I'm not too sure about Mountain High's tournament schedule.
As for lodging, there are some Bed & Breakfast Inns up there. A Google search will lead you to their phone numbers.
