Any way to search for most recent topics?

I like to look at all the current topics, but seems like I can only see the ones since my last visit. If I didnt' get to check them out then I have to go through each individual forum to find em.

Not that I am aware of in this version BB. I will see if I can locate a decent hack for it or it maybe when I get it redone.

another feature I've seen on some other boards is the preview...when you hover your mouse over the title of the thread, it shows the first couple lines of the first post.

Yeah that's a vBulletin feature. Not sure if they have it for phpBB but I can look into it.

Only problem I see with that feature is so many people add 20 blank lines to the top of their post to make you have to go in and read it. :?

they either do that or put it in [ ] to hide it, but it's still nice to have

Well I added a hack for ya. Last 10 forum posts scroll at the bottom of the forum. Not exactly what you wanted but something till I find a better solution. ;)
