midnight rose satellites for WPT

Has anyone played in any of these? I thought about it a few weeks ago, and decided to go up to the Double Eagle and sit at a 2-5 game instead. Just wondering if its really worth it...

Beginning Friday, February 4, 2005 the Midnight Rose Poker Room will host a series of sit'n go satellites that will lead to a final tournament seat on March 30.

The Buy-In is $100 with a $10 entry fee.

Each sit'n go must have 10 entrants and will qualify 2 players for the final.

The final tournament will qualify players for a Super Satellite tournament at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino on April 16th or 17th. Total prize pool from the sit'n gos will be divided to determine the number of players to qualify for the Bellagio Super-Satellites.

Winners of the March 30 final tournament will recieve a prize package of $3200 ($2500 for the Bellagio Super-Satellite Buy-In and $700 for expenses).

Sit'n Gos: From February 6 through March 27 [or until maximum qualifiers(88) are met]. Fridays 4 to 7PM, Saturdays 11AM to 4PM, Sundays 6PM to 10PM.

Final Qualifier is March 30, 7:30PM

Last time I was up there, not even all the locals knew it was going on, so I'm not sure the competition would be too many other people. I've thought about going, but I'll be in vegas March 18th through the 24th and I can't imagine the boss would take too kindly to me wanting to go again right after that :wink:
