Anyone play at Central Station on Saturday? I was there all night and had a pretty good time. The bad beat got hit by a woman who had never played before and she tipped TJ I heard $220 on a $17k-$18k loser's share. This is after it took the casino 4+ hours to pay out the jackpot and TJ had to stay at the table and deal for 4 hours straight after I don't know how long he was already dealing for.
Anyway, was anybody here up there on Saturday? I went to Mountain High first, but the room was packed and the list was a mile long, so I walked over to Central Station. I got a seat pretty quickly, but the room was packed there too and I've never seen so many people in the upstairs part of that casino before. The blackjack tables were full and there were more railbirds at the poker room than I've ever seen. It's the first time I've been back to CCS since they put in more tables - they must've doubled their room. I used to like CCS's poker room the best, but then went to Mountain High because the station's was just too small and tended to have tighter games - MH seemed to attract a bit of a younger demographic. Now, at least on Saturday, that seems to have all changed - I think I'll probably be back at CCS more. They've got the best dealers, IMO, better comps, and I think the room just has a bit of a better feel to it. Now if they could just get some tables with the autoshufflers for more hands/hour...
