And totally exhausted.

A week in Vegas is more than one person can stand, but I tried :)

I have to tell ya, I played poker in the new Ballys card room and I was almost ready to quit my job and move to Vegas and just play poker for a living. 8)

These people there are, well let's just say if you can't make $$$$ playing against them then you may want to consider taking up bingo ;) Nice tables, great dealers and excellent floor managers.
(although being dealt 4 8's when two raising maniacs at the table both had Ace high boats helped ;) )

I also played at Excalibur and the players there are closely related to the players at Ballys. :)
Just not as nice of a set up and the dealers at Ex appear to all come from the same nursing home. I think I only saw 1 dealer who wasn't a long time subscriber to AARP ;)

Hey, 1 dealer was so 'mature' and had some mobility issues, he 'scored' a curved line on the felt with a chip and said if you wanted to play you had to place your bets across the line so he could reach them and another used a stick to drag the chips and slapped it down if a mistake was made

I planned on playing at Mandalay Bay but a 'business meeting' at the Island Bar ran long so I missed the start of the tourney :(

Anyway, good to be home. I got a cool freebie from my friends and sponsors and as soon as I get settled and get through what is a little over 5000 emails I will figure out a way to give them out.

PS: The posting time of the message is accurate unfortunately

I'm heading to Vegas from 10/15 thru 10/22, any other playes that you would recommend.

Were you playing side games or tourneys while in Vegas????

I only played ring games At Ballys and Excalibur. I just didn't have the time to invest in a tourney this trip.

I will at the next poker (business) trip.

I am playing in the $750,000 World Poker Showdown with Chris Moneymaker et al. 7 day cruise to St. Thomas and St. Maarten with poker games and tourneys running almost 24/7.

Oh well someone has to do it ;)

I wish I could do something like that as well. What's the buy in on that Rick, or did you win a seat?

Well the buyin comes with the price of the cruise. It's a 'event cruise'. So it depends if you want a view of the ocean or the boilers :)

We are sponsoring at least one player in it and decided I may as well go along to protect my investment 8)

There are several sites running sats online that you can win your way in for about $3 if you are lucky, and good enough.
