Y'all won't believe who sat at the final table to my right. Corruption, our long lost bretheren. He's been enormously busy with work and can't embezzle his employer's time like before to post here. He says to say "Yo!" to everyone. I took most of his stack before losing it all to the eventual winner :evil: . That left me in 3rd. Corruption lost in the next hand and the night was over.

May pop in doggie....won't be able to play though as I won't get off work untill after my 4 to 6 visit in Littleton. Be fun to just pop in and say Hi though.

I'm not sure why I keep busting out so early at Potts, all 4 of my south DPP events have yielded better results, 3 final tables and a 12th...

Oh well I at least took down the consolation game, winning three hands with the mighty Q 10, including flopping a straight on the last hand.....where was that in the main game is what I wanna know...

Not that many, but 50+ is usual. Get there early and get in line around 5:45 and you'll get a spot. After 6 it's touch and go. Alternates get seated only in the first 20 minutes.

For Denver Poker Parties, they are very strict in giving out one place card per person. You have to REALLY convince the tournament director that you need one or two more place cards because your buddies are running late or still eating.

when it's not super busy they'll do it, but not when there is gonna be people who don't get in at all...

Was out of town so Wetdog and Idh can take their share of the spoils. Look for a return to the tables next Wed though. Good luck.

Best I could do was 1st at the consolation table. Got rivered out of the tourney with my three 7s vs 7s/pocket 2s. The river came a deuce. When I finally left the guy who busted me caught 3 8s on the turn and took down a huge stack. He prolly won.

Hey, Neilsco, tell quickdraw to call me. I have his WPT chip that he left at the table. I pm'd both of you.

I was actually able to make it to the F&H game last night. I ended up coming in 2nd. I loved the setup (equipment, location, etc.), the people were great (players and dealers), the poker got top notch after the first few blind levels and most of the drunks/fish had pissed away their chips. The only down sides I could see were the limited prizes, the music was a bit too loud, and man do those blind increases get steep. Over all a great time though.

Thanks for the heads up about it guys. I'll probably be there every other Wed.

Nope, I think you are talking about the eventual winner. He was around 20, and seamed a little trashed... which makes me feel like a fool for not beating him. However I console myself that I was severly short stacked against him by the time we got heads up... probably 1/8 of his stack size, and I prolly only had 5xBB to work with.

There was a TJ that was moved to my table last night...then within about two minutes, the directors came and moved one of our table players back to the table that TJ had just moved from.....go figure that one out?!?!?!?!
