Lets throw the biggest poker tournament Denver has ever seen. Set up for December 1st 2005. The game will not happen without at least 500 RSVP's.The buy in will be $100.00 Let's do this!!!!

a whole lot harder then jsut throwing one together. So much gose into jsut setting up a simple 30-40 person tourny.
u need to make sure u got a place that can hold that many people. Tables for that many people Chip, dealer, a host. 500 people is alot. there are only so many of us if u want that kind of tourny u have to really get into the public and that is where u run into truble with the law and the gambiling borad. not saying it can be done it just alot of work to have done in such a short time. u would need at least a year for planning and set-up. but hay if there is a will there is a way.

My guess would be that if you were serious about it, the earliest you would be able to have it would be about March Next year.

If you are looking for a place to have such a tourney, can look at one of the American Legion posts. they have a good amount of space in some of their facilities.
