Ok, what if time.

I am looking for a way to make it easier to find games. Since most of the games are part of the organized tour type I am thinking/looking at the possibility of breaking them up by day ie Monday Tours, Tuesday Tours etc.

Whatcha think? It may, no, will create more forums which may be a bit more than people want to scan. The problem would be solved it the tours would start using the calendar but I am guessing that is a pipe dream

Anyway I am thinking maybe a weekday similar to that in the home games section or maybe create a daily thread, sticky/locked in each of the tour forums. Of course that would require the tours to list their game locations by day.

Ideas, comments :?:

Sometimes I can be dangerous when I get bored and just sit around looking for things to change/improve :?

Especially for the poker tours, just have a sticky at the top of the each forum with the current schedule. If anything, I'd be more than happy to help try to maintain some of the schedules.

As much as I spend on this board, I will tell you that I will rarely look at the top of this page to click on Calendar, Bookmaker, Album, or Bank. If I'm looking for a game or infomation, I'm looking in the forums themselves.

I seriously doubt that some of the tours would post their schedules broken out by day of the week. Some don't post at all.

I would also like to find games this way.

I think the sticky approach would be the best. It would eliminate the additional forums on the home page; yet allow easy access to the schedules. JMHO.

I like this variation, just make stickies in the "Rate The Game" forum, or maybe create just one new forum for Pub games and sticky their most recent schedule.

For now, there is no plan to bring the pub tours/forums/schedules back to the site.

Thats cool.

Just a note... I used to like the pubs forum just because thats where I found most of the free roll games that were in bars since that is where I usually spend my time. :jester: :drink3: :hangloos:

(btw: I am also a bartender)
