I'm debating between trivia at Boston's in Highlands Ranch or poker at Boston's in Parker. I do have a better chance of scoring a cash prize at trivia...but poker's really tempting.

Anyone going?

Strongly thinking about Poker at Boston's in Parker. I like the people better, and Poker always overshines trivia....winor lose

Having woken up at 4:30am this morning, I'll either play trivia or pass out on my couch--the latter is more and more tempting. I'll try to hit another DPP soon (maybe the Lone Tree Fox & Hound on Sunday).

After winning $25 at trivia, I decided to shoot over to Boston's in Parker to see if I could get into a single-table tournament. I arrived at about 9:30, and they started one around 10:00. Busted out in 5th place.

I finally won one of these darn things. This was even coming into the final table with 3000 chips and 500/1000 blinds (and 96000 chips total in play).

Not that anyone on the boards goes to these (except for me, of course)...but I'll be there tonight. Trying to make it five finals tables in a row.

I won twice in November. Took a hiatus. Then final table appearances last Tuesday and Wednesday.

Is DPP still running that one, or is F&H doing their own tourney? I ask because because I know that a couple other F&Hs (including the one on 120th) are doing their own. The wife & I both qualified for the quarterly tourney that runs tonite. Trip to Vegas on the line.

One of the many reasons I stopped playing bar poker....it should be fun, but a few bad apples at times can ruin it...

anyway congrats, that's pretty impressive.....I find it harder to play in these types of games because no matter how solid I play I get sucked out on at some point, I've won a few in my day, but I used to play in them 3-4 times a week...
