Seems like a lot of you have met up and played cards with each other. This board is coming along very nicely. I just wish I had more time to come out and meet more of you, but unfortunately my new job + end of school doesn't allow much time to get out  Maybe over winter break I'll come out and play with some of you guys

My crappy schedule at work keeps me mainly playing online poker. I also hope to be able to make it to some of the live games soon

Bryan: I have only been in the Forum for about 2 months now, and what I have learned is with this forum there will always be an opportunity to meet new people. My wife and I just met a couple at a small tourney near our house. the nice part about the forum is taht the forum posts all of these different events, and ultimately, there will be one near where you are at. You won't have to travel too far (time wise.) My travel time to the event that I went to this week....about 1.5 minutes..lol

Besides telling you where the events are, the forum users will usually advise you where they will be playing. Rick, dog boy (Wetdog), Marc, Jason, etc. will usually tell you where they are playing on a given night, giving you great opportunity to meet them.

Don't worry, we are not going anywhere.

My usual first question to the new guys is..."do you know how to play". When they say "No", I say, " that's OK, how much money do you have???"
