Has anybody here played any events for WAPT? ( http://www.worldamateurpokertour.com/ )

I've signed up for their "Player" membership, but haven't had a chance to do anything with it, and don't know how to find out more about the Denver chapter. The page on their website is not very informative.

If anybody is in the chapter, or knows more about this, please PM me or reply here. Thank you!

They have been around for a while and apparently only do the online tourneys rather then brick and mortar.

I have been talking with the people at the Amateur Poker League.

They run tourneys at local establishments and are branching out. They will be 'moving' in the Denver area very soon. They have just set up their first venue in Sterling. They have a pretty sweet setup as far as games go. From what they told me they have over 1000 venues right now and are growing fast.

Right on, Rick.

I sent my registration... hopefully will get my ID soon. Although most of my time spent playing is online, I definitely prefer to play live games, so this league looks like it's probably a little better in that regard.
