I don't know who this may be, but naturally, I am curious. Good luck to whomever buys it.

I'm thinking it's that renamed PokerStarz of Denver (what APT eventually became). It's such a micro "tour" now that if any of the current owners somehow envisioned it recapturing APT...ahem..."glory" (at least in terms of # venues), they have to be disappointed.
Just a theory, obviously.

Am I the only one who thinks there is a possibility of one of the other tours buying this up as a "quick merger" / business growth opportunity? There is certainly the possibilty of some serious money to be had if the right tour scoops this up.

In my opinion, the only one that is possibly worth 25k, other than mine which is obviously worth considerably more, would be Rico's "The Poker Tour".
I just don't see any of the others really worth that amount.

PS. However, if you could prove you were worth 25k I might just buy it up. I have done so with several other tours here in the state and across the USA.

And I just talked with Rico. Its' not him.
So who could it be?

What about Aces & Eights? They've built up a decent customer base.

If I had to venture a guess, I would say that it was posted by a local "con artist" who is just trying to cash in on the gullibility of some locals who lost ALOT of money with another poker tour. Maybe he figures that if you are stupid enough to invest $250,000 in one tour, you might be stupid enough to invest $25,000 in another.
I have talked with several of the more legitimate "poker tours" here in the area, and so far they have all said that they weren't for sale, and if they were they would most likely sell to me in order to get a fair price.

This purchase was NOT the one that was advertised on Craig's List. That was another poker tour operator.
This is another purchase that the Denver Poker Tour has made.
Look forward to us expanding and acquiring other "poker tours" in the state in the coming months.
