I was just at a DPT tourney and they were making sure no one put any money on the table, the guy next to me was waiting for his drink and put his drink money down on the table and ask him to pick it up. They said something about that they were cracking down on free tourneys. Said it was on the news tonight as well. Has anyone heard anything about this?

Yes, channel 4 is doing a report of the 'impending poker crackdown' toinight at 10.

Channel 7 on the other hand is doing a report on the incredible growth of poker.

I caught the tail end of the channel 4 poker thing...anyone watch it? Anything important or just the typical "big brother is watching you" sorta stuff.

The channel 7 stuff didn't get aired due to a "technical difficulty" and they just re-aired the 6pm news in place of the 10pm broadcast. Ooops.
