Does anyone have any infor on poker rooms in Reno, NV. Heading there at the end of the month for a wedding and would like to get away from the boredom.

I was there in June. ElDorado was the best room of the 3 I played in. The other two were Harrah's (snooty dealers and floor - probably due to the pending buyout and management keeping costs down for higher stock price at consummation of the buyout), and the Sands (2 or 3 blocks off Virginia Street - friendly but small and dumpy). ElDorado's room is next to the main entrance, enclosed to block off the casino noise and non-smoking. Friendly staff and the players are generally good natured. Limit 3-6 is the predominate game with 1-2 and 2-5 NL, Omaha and stud thrown in sometimes.

Say hi to your sis for me.

This is a very nice room. approximately 18 tables in a very nice setting. Wait staff was prompt and attentive and the dealers were very personable. Gotta play if you are in Reno!!!

Regular spreads are 3-6 and 4-8. They do also spread H.O.R.S.E. and Omaha if interest is there. Will also spread 10-20 and 2-4 if interest is there.

4-8 game was great. Totally different then any 2-4 or 2-5 (BlackHawk) games. People actually play....not a bingo game. Only saw 1 hand in 6 hours of play that was capped.

This was a very fun time.
