The bar that I work at and started poker at nearly 2 years ago just won Best Poker Night from the Colorado Springs Independent for the second consecutive year (yay me, :))!

From the CS Indy:

Confession: When it became popular to watch Texas Hold 'Em on TV, I jumped on the bandwagon. I knew when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em (thanks to that nifty camera that showed everyone's cards), but never did I actually play any poker. Had I known about free poker four nights a week at The Underground, I would've been more willing to put my knowledge into action. Manager Bryan Williams, who brought the game to The Underground, says poker is supposed to be fun first — and his dealers work hard to make it so.

If there are players in the Springs or Pueblo, come play our games, they really are fun and generally a higher quality of play for a free poker game (which isn't saying it's donk-free, just a bit cleaner than most, hahahaha). First place is always $25 cash (min 11 players) and the bar is great about player giveaways. Four of kind (played out) gets the entire table a round of shots. A straight flush is a drink of the player's choice and a royal flush is $25 cash to the holder.
