Ok, this one is Waaaaaaaayyyy outside of Colorado. :)
Just got back from a week long trip to Switzerland and managed to play about 2 hours of poker while there. :)
It was at the Grand Casino in St. Gallen. I got to the hotel at 2 and had the person there call the casino to make a reservation for me. Was told to be there at 10pm for the cash game.
Showed up at 10, was 8th on the list and since they only had 2 tables, one of which was just clearing out from a tournament, I was able to sit down within minutes.
The only game option was 5-5 NL Hold em. Min 200 CHF Max 1000 CHF (translates to roughly $160 min to $800 max).
The play was pretty LAG, lots of All-ins and calls with weird holdings. I really only had two hands that were good and I won on both of them.
Came out with 475 CHF after a buy-in of 200, so not too shabby. :) The smoke at the table was pretty thick......I felt like I breathed in about a packk and a half in two hours... :(
There was a dress code there, but jeans were actually ok, just had to have nicer shoes and a button up shirt (although I think I saw a t-shirt there too). I was a little overdressed since I wasn't sure what to expect, but my girlfriend and I were just looking good. Can you say "High Rollers"??!! :)
Anyway, I highly recommend a stop there if you've flown the 2000 miles anyway. :)
If you have any other Q's just ask.

P.S. I kept a 5 CHF chip as a souvenir, maybe I'll remember to bring it to TJ's next game. :)
