The old thread was "closed"....so I'll reopen another with this news: got off the phone with a good buddy of mine who went to the Vegas deal with the APT. Their check to reimburse him for the money he had to pony up for the room (that he already paid the APT)? It didn't clear....imagine that....

That's amazing! Who'd a thought?
PS. There are a few media outlets that are trying to contact their players who might want to talk about how the feel they are being treated by the APT. If interested, please contact me and I will forward you on to them.

Brian, where do you stand on legalizing card rooms in Colorado? If they were legalized, would you open a room? Do you have any comments on the Texas legislation (HB3186) that would have legalized small card rooms?
You seem really quick to be critical of your competition and try to protect your business. Our larger interest is to get poker legalized. How about standing up for some more important issues for the long term that would benefit poker in Colorado and the players?
I want Colorado to be just like California so that legal card rooms are licensed and regulated. Free bar poker is not a substitute.

Apt Rocks !!!!!!! And Masters Needs To Get A Life And Move On !!!!!! There Is A Reason Why Soooooo Many Players From Dpt Left And Moved On To Apt. Why? Because He Never Shut's Up. If You Have Ever Attended Any Of His Dpt Tournaments Like I Have All He Does Is Yell And Act Unproffessional !!!!!! Apt Has Not Lost Players, And As A Matter Of Fact, Has Gained Players Since The Whole Cbi Thing. Seriously, Get A Life, And Move On, Pleaseeeeeeeeee

My point is you are not an "unbiased" opinion....but, I guess that's pretty obvious....LOL
Your only defense of the APT is that they "Rock"....no information to back up the opinion or to refute any of the points brought up. Just "APT Rocks"....I'm assuming you led your high school debate team?

Very Good, Connected? I Am So Glad You Know Who I Am, What's Your Point? Apt Rocks And Will Continue To Rock !!!!!! dude who taught you how to write a proper sentence? Honestly enough with capitalizing every word, it hurts me eye.
And seriously I won't play APT anymore and have talked to MANY others who won't either. Don't tell me they havn't lost players. Also I really do think that anyone who continues to play with them or bars that continue to host thier tournies are pretty stupid/uninformed. Honestly they have been making tours like mine (TPT) and the DPT look bad with these huge prizes and going around undercutting our prices to get bars and now look at them. They were operating ILLEGALLY collecting money the old tours could not collect because we abide by the law which in turn made us look bad simply for running a legit buisiness. I will be honest that I hope the APT goes down. I don't know if they will, but if they did, I would not be complaining.

I am truely so very sorry that u feel the way you do.
It is so easy to see how jealous you truely are. APT has not lost any players that I know of and if they have then, it's only a few. APT rocks, that's right, I said it and will continue to say it !!!!! I have played with several poker tours in denver and no one even comes close. I won the tournament on Sat, and I had absolutley no problem at all getting my prize money, it was givento me in cash !!!!!! Seriously, I could care less who you support and who you don't, what Iknow, APT will never go down, it will only get stronger !!!!! I WAS in Vegas AND i can say for a fact that just about everyone ended up having a great time !!!!!! So, take your jealously some where else ok.

I WAS in Vegas AND i can say for a fact that just about everyone ended up having a great time !!!!!!
Because, or in spite of the APT? After the 5 hour wait to get hotel rooms they eventually had to pay for? After they learned that both tournaments they paid for were cancelled?
I had several conversations with people who were out there, and all of them were of the "we are on our own" tint. That APT did nothing for them once they were there. There were cliques of people, but nothing organized. These people are very social people, whom I've known for several years.
You are acting like a punk moe.....
At least try not to show your allegiance to APT. You signed up this week and have made 5 posts, only relating to APT's defense. It's obvious you're on the APT payroll. Try to get them to offer you some tuition reimbursement so you can take a remedial English course or two.

What seems to be ovious in this situation, is that when in the world of competitive business, when you reach the top of your game, people are going to try and knock you down. You can become juvenile and try and talk about vocabulary, and remedial education or what not, and it's ridicoulous. No where will you find my name on the APT payroll, I simply enjoy playing with the best tour overall that this area has to offer and I will support that tour.

You're definitely entitled to think any tour is best, and you certainly air your support of APT. I don't understand how bringing up your horrendous vocabulary is juvenile. It's ridiculous to have to read some garbage in your posts. I just finished reading some of your posts on APT's forum, and if you don't in fact work for them; I pose this question to you.
Why are you so damned protective of their reputation? It sounds like you are worried about losing your job, not your place to play poker.

It's obvious you're on the APT payroll.
That's not true. Although, if you check the APT's homepage, you will see that she was recently paid $1000.

Ive been reading this board since the CBI first began looking at APT. I have watched as they have had one disaster after another and keep making promises that they cannot keep. I believe that APT is good on the surface but is rotten at its core. In my opinion, it was amazing that Moe got her money from the Saturday tournament as I was suspecting another questionable check.
Some of the original founders of this company are deeply upset by current events. The idea was to have the best free poker in town, but not at the expense of the players’ intelligence, integrity or money.
It is my suspicion that one day the CEO and CFO of this company will either disappear with whatever money they have conned some “new investor” out of or they will soon be giving interviews from the federal prison.
DPT and often Brian himself, have their own issues but I do not believe that Brian EVER bounced a pay check to one of his employees. The practices and apparent lies of APT are unacceptable, rude and unethical and we are not even talking about the legal issues.
It is a shame that this has given free poker a bad name and I am very much hoping that the good faith investors of the company take control and bring back the APT as it was originally designed to be free fun poker to all players. The loyalty and support of the players to the APT has been wonderful and amazing it is hoped that APT can salvage what is left of its good name.
Sincerely
Daisy
That's not true. Although, if you check the APT's homepage, you will see that she was recently paid $1000.
Read the APT forums, and it becomes more evident. She talks in a sense of ownership. "Our players this"... and "I've been with APT since the beginning"...
I'd be willing to bet a weeks salary that she's being paid by APT. Otherwise, why offer up the allegiance so deep? It's like she's got a blood oath to them.
As stated before, I understand people have their own opinions. To be so one sided on any such matter though strongly suggests an inside connection.

I respectfully disagree (with the acknowledged possibility that you could be right). We could be talking about politics, a sports team, religion, or even graphics card chipset manufacturers, and you'll find oodles of fanboys (and girls) that will support their cause until the death.

Hey TJ,
Let's see if you can really back up what you are saying? Am I to understand that you are willing to bet your entire weeks salary that I work for APT?
I am willing to take that bet baby !!!!
Now, let's see you put your money where your mouth is and do it !!!!
Otherwise, you are full of BS !!!!
Well, I am waiting, Let's go !!!!
APT !!!!!!

What you've told me in a PM on APT Moe (aside from the nasty one where you kinda challenged me to a fight....LOL), was that you have a son who works for the APT, and that you did the advance work on the Vegas gig...Which might explain why it fell on it's face and was a dissaster, I mean with all these people skills you've shown here.
Being as you've done this work for them, and as such, are a "representative" of the company, I'm sure they're very proud of the way you've behaved on this forum. I mean, you've been completely professional and all. Held yourself to the highest standards you have.
I'm sure you'll retort the "they started it" nonsense, as your intellectual level so far dictates you will....
As for TJ, I've played poker at his house once. Great guy, nice family, nice friends. He's alot better off in life then you Moe. He's the kind of guy you would have enjoyed playing poker with at his house. Too bad you could do nothing but be a donkey here.....
