You have more info than i do...but Gordon is great!
It's for tommorrow.
Ripped from the Alice headlines:
Seagram’s 7 Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Challenge
11.10.04 – 6p Alice 105.9 has your chance to get tickets to the Seagram's 7 Texas Hold 'Em Poker Challenge hosted by Celebrity Poker’s, Phil Gordon. Attendees will learn tips and strategies during Phil's "How to play and win" clinic. After the clinic 49 players will be randomly selected to compete on seven tables in round one, then the seven table winners will then move onto the final table! Winners have the chance at great prizes like a Sony Surround Sound System and a trip to Vegas!
WHO LUVS YA BABY
Ok, you want to see Phil? You want to learn from one of the pros free? No problem. We got you covered. ;)
This is a private invitation only event and guess who is invited.....
YOU
I talked with the promoter of this event and members of the World Famous DenverPoker.com website are invited.
If you want to go you have to do 2 things.
1- Email
[email protected] or call them at 303-967-2700 and ask for the promotions department.
2- Tell them DenverPoker.com sent ya and they will arrange for you to get tickets and tell you where the secret location for this event will be.
It's always easy when "you know someone" :)

Rick, you're the man! Thanks buddy!!
Because of the short notice, you will have to pick up th etickets at the station. They are located down in the Tech Center area. 4700 S Syracuse Ste 1050 8-5PM.
I will be picking up some tickets today and 'should' have 2 extras so if anyone really intends to go and can't get to the TC before hand I can arrange 2 tickets at the event.
The 'secret' location is in LODO, a stones throw from Coors Field just so you have all the logistics.
Phil will also be on channel 9 tomorrow morning during the 10am hour.

So I'm guessing the tourney is tomorrow evening? I haven't heard back from the email I sent, if they don't get back to me I'll just catch it next time around.

KBPI is also sponsering the event on Weds night at B-52's with limited tickets. I think they gave away most of them this weekend.
The event will in fact be at B-52s, 1920 Market St in LODO.
It will run from 6PM until 1AM
Tickets are very limited.
You will need to be 21+ yrs of age since it's at a pub and Seagrams is sponsoring it and sign an affidavit.
Lots of prizes to be awarded to the winners.
I just got back from getting my tickets

Too bad I worked all night on Tuesday....I so wish I would have known about this before now. Being off Wednesday night and all....
Just saw Phil on TV. They only had a small segment but used it well to promote his new book, available for sale here ;) , his poker room and tonight event. They said there will be a few tickets at the door IF you can cut a 7 from the deck. The clinic tonight should be good.
I still have 2 tickets if anyone is interested and will be there.
Weather is questionable but anything less than 4 feet of snow and it will be worth it.

I have a lab for a class right off of I-25 and Speer until 5 pm. Is this going to be close to there? If so, do you still have an extra ticket Rick?
I hope this event is good. If I go, hope to see and meet alot of you there!
Very close. Its at Market and 20th Ave so you will only be a few blocks away.
Just go to their site at:
http://www.b52billiards.com/flash/index.html
and click the location link. It has a map to it. Just north of Speer on Market
Yes I still have the tickets

So, basically its Coors Field? or is my directions WAY OFF? Can you "pencil" me in for one of those tickets?
If you have anyone absolutely FOR SURE going, give it up. The thing is that sometimes my Physics Lab runs long, and might not get out on time.
I can PM you a contact number, or we can trade cell phone numbers or something...
Either way, I appreciate the notice on Phil coming into town and the outstanding Forum you run.

Hey Rick,
I would love the two tickets if you still have them available for my wife and myself. Are you online?
Done.
Tickets are gone and I will see you all down there shortly.

LOTS of people were there. Some people from Denver Poker were there as well. Thank you Rick for the ticket!!
Rick and I both got our names called to play in the tournament (only 70 people got to play). And even though this was FREE MONEY tournament, the dealings I had were very professional. I did lose on a bad beat though....
SO, hopefully Phil Gordon and others will think of Denver as a major hub for poker and come back SOON!!!
