I think the lowest limits is $2/4, and that can be found at most of the casinos not named Mirage, Wynn, Bellagio and Venetian. It will probably only be offered during non-peak hours. Otherwise, it'll be $3/6 or $4/8 minimums, sky's-the-limit maximums.
Excalibur used to offer a 1-3 game. Haven't played there in a while but I doubt they could afford to raise it :)

Swede, when I was at the Venetian last summer, they said that they would spread 2-4 if there was enough interest. That night I was on a list of only 3 or 4 showing interest.
Most of the fish want to play no limit like they see on TV. They think it's retarded that you can't go all in. It's funny to watch them buy in for $40 on a 1-2 table, go all in, rebuy, rinse/repeat.

I've read they got rid of the $1/3 and $1-6 spread games about 4 months ago.

Buying in for less than $200 on any $1-$2NL table in Vegas is not a good choice unless you want to put in a fifth of your stack on the first hand you play just to see a flop.

That just doesn't make sense. when you have to do that, you may as well play the 3-6 or 4-8 Limit games. You will still play longer than most of these knuckleheads in a 1-2 NL game.
I'm going to vegas to play in March. What are the juicest rooms? All opinions welcome. I have been reading that the MGM is very very juicy. Looking to play 3/6 limit or 4/8 limit, maybe 2/5 nl.
thanks

for the sake of variance you are correct...you are probably going to see a few tough beats which can be tough on the bankroll...
however when your hands hold up you can make some quick scores....most all of the 1-2 and 2-5 games are pretty juicy....especially MGM and Bally's...
if you are wanting to sit for the long haul though...playing limit is the way to go IMO...
just whatever you do, don't play at the Luxor....some of the most screwed up structures ever....1-1-2NL with a $50 max buy-in??? a tourney that is limit for an hour then NL the rest of the way???

I hear good things about Ceasar's room. I've also heard that MGM is pretty good. Luxor is horrible and Excalibur is like playing in a freeroll which isn't entirely bad, you just need cards b/c you aren't going to bet anyone off of anything at 1-2NL there.
