I am calling out Brian Masters here.

I enjoy playing on your tour.

I have endless nights of free beer from winning your tourneys and many entries into your annuals and monthly's which is great.

However.

Anytime anyone says anything about he DPT you freak out. maybe you should take these comments in stride instead of trying to stick up for yourself. Every company will have it's issues. Honestly man your company is very succesful for a reason. You are doing a good job.

Now when people post on here about a problem with the blind structure or an issue with a dealer could you please not pounce on the person complaining? It gets nobody anywhere. Can you accept some constructive critiscism? You run a lot of bars. You do a lot of buisiness. It just isn't professional to argue with those you serve.

I am sorry but after reviewing every post you have made here all you have done is berate your own players. As a player and as a competitor in your buisiness I think it would be nice if you would show a little class.

There is no reason to defend yourself against the player who had to wait too long on the waitlist or, didn't like their dealer, only an obligation to try your hardest to do better the next time. I honestly believe this is just how good buisiness works.

I really hope you don't take this the wrong way, this is not an attempt to talk bad about your tour (notice thier is no discussion of my own) but I would like to be able to have good, argument free, discussion about issues that do arise at these games. I enjoy playing on the DPT but do not enjoy reading your responses to DPT players on this forum most of the time as I feel they are often argumentative and generally unproductive. I believe we could all gain something from some good conversation on these subjects and can all learn to get along here.

I just wanted to get this out on the table.

Please Brian. I do not want to have any problems with you and would like to resolve any issues we have. I really think that resolving our differences could benefit everyone.

This is an open letter.

Thank you for reading.

powda,

Danny

It has taken me six months to figure out how to answer this post.

So here goes.

There are many good poker tours in Colorado. Obviously we are all competitors of each other. Games like Colorado Poker People, The Poker Tour, Colorado Poker .tv, and I have been in business for over two years and have gottne along well. Other companies have come and gone, several we have gotten along with, and several we haven't.

This is still a business for all of us.

Many times over the years I have heard that players complain about the game. That is their right. But what isn't right, is people coming in and slamming games, insulting players, or even the owners of the tours. I am guilty of this as well. My responses have been made out of spite. When people attack me personally I get offended. When people attack my game, I get curious. Just why do you have a problem with the game? We try to keep it a close to real poker as we can. Yes, we have waitlist. yes, we have dealers that might not be as good as they can be. yes, we have bars that charge too much for their drinks and food. But this is all part of the game.

And yes, I can be a jerk. But so can everyone else. That is not an excuse for my actions. So, from this point on... there will no longer "attacks" made by me to anyone else on this site. But I do ask for one thing. If you have a problem with me. Contact me about it. Write me a letter. Sign your name. You have always know who I was when I made my posts. But many of you have made posts anonymously "attacking" me or company. So you should realize that I could get offended by someone who doesn't acknowledge their own comments, and / or won't back up their statements.

From my understanding, DenverPoker.com wasn't created to have "attack" posts on their site. Many of us have seen our posts deleted or the forums locked. I would probably do the same thing.

As Rodney King once said, "Can't we all just get along?"

If you don't like someone's game, then don't play. If you want to recommend a tour's game, then do so. But for us to spend our time "attacking" each other is just stupid. And I am the king of stupid!

I hope to see many of you out there at our game. But if not, I hope you are enjoying playing where ever you are.
