Blackhawk tourneys?

Hey guys, I am going up to blackhawk on Sun around 10am and I was wondering which tourneys you guys recomened(sp?)?

I know there is a 12pm tourney at the gilpin and one at 2pm at the new ameristar casino, but are there anyothers that I don't know of?

The noon Gilpin tourney is cheap ($40) AND has a decent start chip count (4000).

How many ppl usually play? I'm going to be up there on Sun as well as I have a rare weekend day without the wife and kid.

I probably will play in that one as well - I'll be the one that gets knocked out in the first level bluffing the heck out of 9-3o on a AKJ rainbow board.....

This is going to be my first live tourny up there, so we'll see how things go.

I think they aim for 40 players, 44 if they get enough interest.

It was top 4 last time I played (44 players). I finished 5th. :(

Edited to add: My apologies, you get 5000 chips if you lay down all $40 at registration.

I've never played in a live tourney in a casino before - should be educational.
