You think rake inj BH and CC is bad??

Look at this:

They have either 5/10 or 10/20 limit games here. No NL games because they want to 'keep it friendly' and no see people lose all their money.

Well the rake is:

On a 5/10 game, 10% of the pot max $15 :scared:

On a 10/20 game, 10% of the pot max $20 :scared:

When they told me that, I got up and left. Quick math tells me they will clear all the chips to the house in about 2 hours. I told them I can play in my room and even counting the internet rake (charge) of $30 per hour, I would still come out way ahead.

3 other people left with me. :)

So next time you are playing up the hill you may want to consider giving them a kiss ;)

I had heard this same type of story from a friend who went on a general cruise as well....
He said the rake was horrendous and the "tournament" structure was crazy....

Has anyone been on a CardPlayer Cruise? I thought that would be fun, but A) You're playing against competent people (usually), not just tourists and B) If the rake is that bad, I'll just stick with online/BingoHawk...

Hope the trip is still fun though!

Yup, it's theft no doubt about it but there is still a waiting list of people willing to be fleeced. Mostly college age English is not their first language types.

I will not be back. Keno would have a better payout.

But the cruise ROCKS :)
