HOWDY ALL,

I just moved to Broomfield area from south texas, I was wonderin' if you guys have bar games here, and are they free? We play everyday back home for points that evetually the top 64 play an end-of-the-month tourney for a trip to Vegas...I was just wanting to play close by...anyone know of anythin?

The Denver Metro area has close to 12 bazillion (give or take a few) bar poker 'tours' running at any given time and yes, they are all free. :)

Broomfield has a few bars that have similiar structures as you are used to in Texas. Fox & Hound (120th & Sheridan) has a tournament that plays on Wednesday nights. Starting time is at 7:00, signup starts around 6:00. Rocky Mountain Poker League http://www.rockymountainpokerleague.com/ plays Monday and Tuesday at the Hair of the Dog (120th & Vance), Thursday and Saturday at In Kahoots (127th & Lowell) with the same start times as Fox & Hound, and Sunday at 2:00 with 1:00 signup at The Exchange Tavern on Bradburn 1 block south of 120th.

well, if you are like most of us, after stuffing your face with bar food and drinking gallons of beer (like doggie), I would say bar games are far from free. lol
