For those TV poker players in training, the WPT is putting together a Boot Camp.

It's free to sign up and pre register and I am guessing they will bring the camp to those places that show the most interest (Hint, Hint)

Yes, hopefully the WPT would come to Denver. In addition to all the exciting giveaways we'd get, I'm sure that we would all be going to it as well...

I totally agree. I want to see the WPT come to Denver. What I wouldn't give for a free trip for a satellite. I think my girlfriend would reevaluate my poker playing all the time if it involved a trip for us to a nice hotel ;)

If they were to have a WPT event in Colorado, they'd probably do it during the ski season in either Aspen or Vail would be my thoughts.

Oh, what I'd give to ride the chairlift with Shana Hiatt. :P

In case you haven't noticed, the WPT Bootcamp has signed up as a member here. ;)

They were nice enough to provide some additional info and when I talked to them, they were very interested in coming to Denver should the support for it be here.

Here is the additional info:

WPT Boot Camps will take place all over the country. It's an exciting two-day, hands on, boot camp where students will be tutored on all aspects of competitive, tournament, Texas Hold 'Em Poker from the WPT's top players and poker celebrities. The student atmosphere will be tremendous, with most skills being applied in actual play at actual WPT tables.

The courseware has been developed exclusively by the WPT with integrated video archives of actual strategies and skills from some of the greatest World Poker Tour Players.

Every WPT Boot Camp will reward one student with an all expense paid entry into a WPT sponsored satellite tournament, which will include airfare, deluxe hotel accommodations, entry fee, and chance to win their way to the WPT Championship!
Also, each student will receive a wonderful assortment of promotional items such as caps, shirts, etc.

Awesome Rick! You da man. We all know the support will be tremendous if they set up a WPT Bootcamp here.

Do you know what the admission price (if any) would be to enroll in a WPT Bootcamp?

/hoping it's free, doubting it is.
