I'm having a 20-player tourney at my house next Saturday, and am looking to rent a couple of poker tables. I thought I had a pretty good deal from one place at $25 each, but they just canceled on me.

Everywhere else I check charges $50-$65 per table. Does anyone know of anyplace to rent nice 10-player tables for not that much money?

I'm not sure how this idea sounds to you, but you could build one for a relatively small price. (around $100) then you could have them for all of the games that you will play. I built both of my tables and they are surprisingly easy (excludingtthe rail which is optional anyways) and fun to build. They have held up well and they have gotten plenty of use.The best part is you get to choose your own colors and style of table and there are tons of plans that you can find online.

I'd also suggest building a table (or two). Mine is set up to store fairly easily and wasn't too much to build. I put a little extra into mine (cupholders, airbrushing, padded rail...), but you could build a good, sturdy table with nice padding and felt for a couple hundred buck, give or take. If you rent two tables for $50, you can see where it may quickly be more penny wise to build a couple.

I had to build five tables for my monthly game and I agree. I've spent more than most though because I worked more from trial and error rather than relying on others experiences. But even so, I'm right at $100 per table (no rails either).

But I have three great tables now with the casino style suited cloth, all of them are 3.5 X 8 feet allowing for 11 players and a dealer and I just use folding tables for the bases so everything stores super quick and easy.

My first piece of advice, do not be cheap with your felt, :). The suited cloth cost me $50 per table, but I can't imagine I'll ever have to replace it, it's real quality that's worth every penny.

The biggest cost has been chairs, hahahahaha!

Good luck to you!

Now now, play nice :)

I actually own a Harley and a Honda. I appreciate both bikes for what they are, and what they can/can't do.
